Greetings all,
Hope I can explain this correctly
I Have the following Drives
C:
D: - removable inside my HPpsc 2210 (printer via USB port)
E: - DVD drive
F: CD-RW
G: DVD-RW - external via USB port

EVERYTIME I insert a disk into a drive, I get the following pop up message:
Please wait while windows configures your HP psc 2210

Then it shows a short progess bar - disappears and eveything runs normally.

How can I correct this and why is it happening??

Thank you
Sky

"... EVERYTIME I insert a disk into a drive ..." ==> ANY disk into ANY drive?   ... or just a flash memory device in the printer slot?

In any event, you should do the following:

(a)  Uninstall the HP printer software; then disconnect (unplug the USB cable) the printer.

(b)  Reboot.

(c)  Go to Disk Management and Change the drive letters for your other devices to D:, E:, and F:

(d)  Download the most current software for the PSC-2210 from HP's site.

(e)  Install the HP software -- do NOT connect the printer until told to do so by the software installation routine.
