XP PRO downgrade to XP Home?

I have a client that has a non legit copy of windows xp pro installed on there computer before they bought it. They have now purchased XP home. Does anyone know if there is a way to Downgrade to XP home from PRO?

I found a couple of links on this issue. It doesn't look like it would be possible with good system stability.
