When I register a dll via "RegAsm /codebase MyFunctions.dll", I get the below warning before it registers successfully.  Should I heed the warning and "sign my assembly" with a "strong name"?  If so, how do I do so?

RegAsm : warning RA0000 : Registering an unsigned assembly with /codebase can cause your assembly to interfere with other applications that may be installed on the same computer. The /codebase switch is intended to be used only with signed assemblies. Please give your assembly a strong name and re-register it.

Yes, I belive it would be a good thing to sign your assembly anyway.

Here are some links that should explain how to sign an assambly, but if these are insufficiant please let me know, and we'll work it out.
