Hi All,

Helping a friend move his blog from Blogger to GoDaddy (where I set up his website).  GoDaddy is no help in importing the blog (maybe a good reason not to host there).  I haven't been able to find any good info on exporting Blogger data (I'm not a good searcher).

Can anyone provide any help?

Thanks in advance.

Since Blogger rebuilds websites on demand, you can download the whole blog using any of the HTML editing programs (Frontpage, Macromedia, etc). Here is a link to a free program for copying a whole website at once:

Remember that the ability to add to the blog will be lost. You may find that it is easier to simply put a link to the blog from your new homepage.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I didn't think about losing the ability to reply to the previous posts - thanks for thinking ahead for me.  You are right, it will probably be easier to just link to the blogs from his website.

There's no blog hosters out there that can acutally import the previous posts, I suppose?

Thanks again for the quick reply.

Best Regards.
