by any chance are you using 9.2.2? ive just been told by my IT manager than he read on the internet that 9.2.2 isnt bug free and ive just found out first hand - im getting a protocol error so ive rolled back to 8.
is there any other versions available in between and if so where might i find them as citrix.com only allow 9.2.2 to be downloaded... which is a bugger!

I've been using 9.2 (is 9.2.2 a newer version?) Is that a protocol driver error message? Are you using CSG 3.0? If so, it may be CSG patch-related and/or PS4 R02 with 9.2 (and no patches on CSG).

ok i dont have citrix background and am only newly new so in terms of CSG - i dont know what it is...
however saying that, we have SSL certs for https://csg.domain.com and https://login.domain.com if this helps.

Sorry :-) Citrix Secure Gateway 3.0.

then the answer is yes we use SSL or "https://" ...
what different does this make to the web client issue...

If you have R02 for PS4 and CSG without any patches and session reliability enabled, there are some issues with 9.2 of the ICA client, that's why I was asking. From what I've seen, this only affects users going through Web Interface. Citrix has hotfix 3 for Secure Gateway that resolves this issue with 9.2 of the client.

i will check with the IT manager who has more knowledge of our citrix system to see if he has patches done etc...
but in the mean time, can you point me to this hotfix 3 please?

Citrix keeps flipping back and forth between hf3 and hf4. It look like they decided to put hotfix4 back up -- http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX111165
