Hi Team,

What tools, or perfmon settings etc would you recommend in order to capture / measure how much email is sent within an organisation over a period of time.

I am trying to work out volumes in preparation for archiving for Exchange 2000

Thanks alot on advance :-)

The only way to capture all email is to use message tracking, then get something third party to process the logs.
Perfmon cannot give you the numbers.

Quest Message Stats will give you lots of information and you might get away with the trial version if you only need to do it for a short time.

Thanks Simon,

I have installed the trial version of Quest MessageStats and spotlight for exchange and they reports and GUI are brilliant. Exactly what I needed. Thanks for the great link ot the other products also.

I love Quest... just can't get any client to agree with me and pay for the product!
