Service for historical web traffic data

Hello all.  Aside from Alexa, is there any way to get information on the total web traffic or search queries during a specific past date span?  The more specific, the better.  For instance, if I could drill down into keyword searches, that would be best.  Info on general traffic trends would work too.  The key here is researching specific dates in the past, at most three years back.

Thanks!
