Printing in VMWare

We are an ASP start up and we are testing applications to run in a virtualised environment with the use of VMWare. We are using VMWare rather than just the isolation functionality that comes with Citrix as certain applications such as Sage Line 50 and Quickbooks require local admin rights on the terminal server, and as such, we need to segregate the users of such apps from other users on our system.

The apps tend to function ok but when we attempt to print from Sage or Quickbooks from a terminal server session that is connected to a VMWare server, nothing even comes out of the printer. However, we also have MS Office 2003 installed in the virtual environments and priting is fine with these applications.

Does anyone know why a print out from Office is fine but from Sage and Quickbooks not? We are using the same printer for both and the drivers are installed on the terminal server.
