Autoplay command

Can anyone tell me the run comand or command prompt to get a cdrom/software programme to autoplay on my pc? Some programmes start automatically but others don't? Thankyou

If autoplay is enabled on your computer (I assume it is, otherwise NO cdrom would auto-start) it depends on the files located on the CDROM if it automatically runs  a program or not.
In the root of the CDROM a file named AUTORUN.INF must exists. It contains an entry that points to the executable file to start when the CDROM is inserted.
