Information about JDBC Type 4 Driver

Hi Experts,

I would like to know which would be the best type 4 driver to purchase which is suitable for the web application developed using J2EE with SQL Server serving 500 client machines.

Please Advice.

I have used inet's drivers in the past which worked very well: http://www.inetsoftware.de/news/2006-09-28.htm  and support jdbv v3.x API. Also BEA's for MS SQL server drivers are quite well but they only support version 1 of the jdbc API. You can also try jTDS: http://jtds.sourceforge.net/ which are free. YOu should also have some drivers that come with Ms SQL server from Microsoft I think.
