McAfee Management Console
Hello
We are using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 on our PC's. I have used Symantec Corporate before, and with that product you can set up an 'anti-virus server' that has a console that lists all clients with the software installed, their virus status, and also the date of their current definitions.
Does anyone know if McAfee has a similar application? I have searched on their website but cannot find anything relevant.
Max points because I've tried and tried to find this to no avail!
Thanks in advance.

Excellent! Managed to locate the CD and have installed it.
I can't see other computers in the organisation though? When I run the Query for All Connecting Computer, I get a blank. Any idea?

Dilan77,
Which are you running? ePO or Protection Pilot?

Also, I don't recall setting up username to log into the console, but it is pressing me for one. The default username is admin, do you know if there is a default password?
ASKER
Sorry, running ePO!

Ok, managed to log in, but I'm still unsure why I can't see other computers on my network?
Dilan77,
You need to install a client on the target machines etc. ePO is not a small, simple program. This is a very complex piece of software. I suggest you RTM to check that your system is up to it etc. It's a pain to setup, but once it's running, it's supposed to be brilliant for enforcing AV and other policies for McAfee software and some others.
This will not just install and work.

Aha...apologies, I assumed it was similar to the Symantec Console and would auto-find other machines on the network with the av client installed.
Looks like I'd better RTM :)
Thanks for the help getting me set up.
