Hi folks!

This is what I'd want:

An MS Database which holds three fields. Furthermore a pop up wiht 2 edits and 1 combobox which lets me select an item from the dropdown that comes from from the .mdb database. After selecting it I want to add it to my listview.

So suppose the data are Gender age and haircolor I wanto be able to let the user select such data from the pop up (edits and combobox) coming from the database. Also it should be possible to add new items to the datbase.

If you need more info please ask!!

Kind regards,

Peter

Ps working samples make me happy!

This is pretty easily to accomplish, I would look at one of the many tutorials for this on the web.
I remember reading this one http://delphi.about.com/od/database/a/databasecourse.htm years ago which helped me.

I think that tutorial also contains source code as well.

Got Microsoft Access? You can use that to design your database.
Simply open the software - create a new database table, 3 fields
id - autonumber
age - number, 5
haircolor - string, 20

And there is your database, so you just need to view that tutorial for creating your Delphi app.
