VFP6 under Windows 2000: Keyboard freezes on Modi Memo Note

My application in VFP6 uses " modi memo note WINDOW MEMONOTE". This has worked for numerous users for many years. One user operating under Win 2000 reports that the keyboard freezes when the window is opened ... that is, nothing happens when she strikes any keyboard. Also, paste (Ctrl-V) for data placed on the clipboard before the function is initiated does not work.  Other users operating under W 2000 have not reported a problem.

Since it seems to be PC specific, delete the foxuser.dbf file on that PC and let it get re-created in the next new Fox session and see if that problem goes away.

If that doesn't do it, make sure the user's video driver is current.  A bad memory leaking device driver can wreak havoc on a PC's working environment.  Print drivers can also enter into the mix, especially when they get called via the video driver to generate a Print Preview.
