I have a pc that has a slot for a pcie16x1.  What is the big difference between that and PCi?  can I use any PCIE video card is this system?
I have about 130$US to spend...any suggestions?

The main difference between pci and pci-e (pci express) is speed pci-e is much faster than pci. For what card to use that would depend on what size power supply you are using. What size is your power supply? if your not sure just post the make and model of your system and we can look it up.

The v3100 requires a 300 watt or greater power supply, so your going to be cutting it close. Other than that it should work fine.
