Inserting interactive charts or graphs into FP8

Got a feeling I am going to be very disappointed here. Is it possible to insert or embed (using container field) a chart/graph based on data in an FP8 file that automatically updates as the underlying data changes, either in layout or preview mode? From what I have read so far it looks as if this is one of those no go areas for FP8.

with fm itself yes, all you can do basically is draw bars using '|' characters, the old non-graphic solution!
but there is an excellent plug-in for this, worth the money (I own it) http://www.x2max.com/
quite complex to start with due the the extensive syntax, but does anything you need.
