In my application I am trying to use the generic dialect class. Does anyone know where I can get a generic dialect driver from? I receive the following 2 lines of exceptions in my app.

Initial SessionFactory creation failed.
org.hibernate.HibernateException: Dialect class not found: net.sf.hibernate.dialect.GenericDialect

Where do I download this package from?

It should be in the same package with the rest of the hibernate classes. You might need to set the GenericDialect in the hibernate.properties file. Can you post it?
