I have a user on an SBS 2003 network that it is getting a new PC.  I want to add the PC, but keep all of his settings (we use raoming profiles).  Should I run the new computer wizard or configure it manually?

hi there, best way to do this would be to initially run the connectcomputer command from your web browser to connect the pc to the domain and to stick with the roaming profiles if the user will be using more than one pc. Its always wise to use the wizards when you are configuring anything on an SBS domain.

If this is going to be the only pc that this user will use, then you could remove the roaming profile and just go with a local one, but make sure that you synchronize the my documents folder to the users folder on the server so this will get backed up each night.

hope this helps!
