On several computers at my office, when Outlook Express shuts down a message appears wanting to compact the databases. I maintain my own full backups, have plenty of hard drive space and don't want the DBs compacted.<br />

I was reading somewhere that after a certain number of program cycles, this message appears and can be turned off by reseting a counter in the registry. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
