Adding a IDE drive to Dell precision 670. Boot drive is a scsi - second drive is IDE but will not recognise either IDE when the third drive is added

Hi. I have a Dell precision 670. the boot drive is a 300gb scsi. It have added a second drive which is an IDE drive and I need to add a third drive which will be an IDE as well. but when I add the thrid drive and boot I cannot see either of the IDE drives. Both are set to slaves. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are they both on the same channel? One must be master, and the other slave, or both cable select.

Hi Chris - I think I have them as both slaves - I will try what you suggest and let you know. Many thanks Kieran
