Hello experts,

When i send an email in php i use this "mail($to, $subject, $Body, $headers)".
Is there a way to know if the email was well received in the destination server?

thx in advanced

As far as I know this is not possible with PHP... The only thing I can think of is setting the From:/Reply-To: headers right to receive the returned emails on that address

Well, usually when a mail is not delivered the destination server sends a mail with information about the error.

If you want mail confirmation when user reads it just add this header.

$headers .= 'Disposition-Notification-To: "Myname" <mymail@mydomain.com>'
