I have a .PST file that is about 300mb in size from a user that is no longer with the company.  I'm trying to access the .pst to determine if there is anything inside of importance or if the file can be discarded.  When I map to the .pst in outlook 2003 file appears to be mapped, however there is no email showing up from the file.  All the categories are blank and it shows no user created folders.  With the size of the file I expect something to show.  Any ideas?

Greetings, txpaulrs !

Make sure you are not looking a filtered view. Make the view shows all mail, not unread only.

Run ScanPST, then determine if you can see the files.

If no joy, use Outlook Recovery. The demo will show you what emails can be recovered.

ScanPST worked great, the file had errors and was repaired.  Thanks war1
