Error and cannot start service after installing on separate machine

I built a VB.Net assembly that runs as a Windows service. I added an install wizard too.

After I build the assembly, I can install it on another machine and use installutil.exe to install the windows service, but when I go to the services list and try to start the service manually, I get the following error:

Could not start the <service name here> service on Local Computer.
Errror 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Need help! Thanks!

The problem was due to the startup project not being set to the service. Thanks for the help though!
