Originally Office 2003 was installed without Outlook. Now I want to install it.
I go to the add/remove applet and select change and then choose outlook.
The install appears to go fine and then at the very end an error pops up , Error 2756 An internal error has occurred. Then the install rolls back the install.
Here is the event log:
Product: Office -- Error 2756. An internal error has occurred.  (OfficeFolder)   Contact your Information Technology department for assistance.

The only thing I can think of is I need the original CD install which I do not have at this moment.
Any suggestions would be great.

Hi cjsling,

When you say you do not have the original CD, do you have another Office 2003 CD? You will need one for the install.

cheers,

That's what I figured.  I don't have one with me right now. It will have to wait.
thanks for the fast response. At least I know for sure now.
The install just makes it seem like it is installing until the very end...

thanks again. cj
