war1- Got a chance to look at the problem yesterday. &nbsp;It turns out that McAffee Anti-Spam was causing the problem. &nbsp;You were right- thanks for your help.

I have a user whose outlook loses their incoming mail settings everytime they shut down their computer. &nbsp;Basically the correct setting is incoming.verizon.net, but it gets changed to 127.0.0.1 and they have to manually go into their account settings and change it back. &nbsp;Running verizon's mail fix took only fixes it for that session, the next time they restart the program it reverts back to the default 127 address. &nbsp;The outgoing settings never change. &nbsp;User has XP pro SP2.
