   Private Sub MonthCalendar1_DateSelected(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.DateRangeEventArgs) Handles MonthCalendar1.DateSelected
        TextBox1.Text = e.Start.Date
    End Sub

If you are selecting one date, it will put it textbox or else if you are selectign range of date, then you need to use both
e.Start.Date and e.End.Date .
