Tool to check for locked accounts on local computers

I'm using useraccount.vbs from the 2000 RK with great success to check the local domain and local servers for locked out accounts.  When I try to run this tool across a WAN on certain servers it is incredibly slow - effectively unusable.  I can't use Win2003 only tools.

I've googled and found the MS "ALTools" which don't do what I need.
I've also found the joeware.net tool, but that only works on Domain controllers.

Anyone know of another non-gui tool/script that I can try?

It's no faster... :(
The cause was ultimately found to be related to built-in Checkpoint firewall rules -aka SMartDefense blocking port 135 traffic and labeling it as ICKiller.  Re-working that permitted the .vbs to work.
