i  have a small program called copycat that incrementally copies certain files and creates new instances of them rather than overwrite existing copies.

this program has a scheduler but only runs when logged on.

i would like to run it as a service.

how do i go about making it run as a service so even if the server is not logged on it will run.

is there a standard easy way to make an application run as a service?
