Hi,

Does C++ have a method for checking an object's class type? Something like:

    void Whatever(CBaseClass &obj)
    {

        if (IsDerivedClassA(obj) {
            ...
        }
        else if (IsDerivedClassB(obj)) {
            ...
        }
    }

I could keep a string member of each class which says what type it is, but there is probably a better way to do it.

Thanks
