Exchange 2000 - Remove inherited rights to view mailbox

I had given one of the users (backup admin) to view mailbox of a person.
Now I need to remove it.
I go to Active directory -> User properties (Advanced) -> Exchange advanced -> Mailbox rights -> remove user
It gives me error that "You can not remove "backupadmin" because this object is inheriting permission from its parent directory. Turn off the option for inheriting permissions, and then try removing again."
I checked in security tab and removed option inheriting permissions options.
Not sure if I removed the user from there as well ... right now the user does not appear under security tab... but is still there under Mailbox rights tab.

How do I get rid of that backupadmin from Mailbox rights? Is there any other place than security (I believe so) where the permissions are inherited?
