cant install any applet containing cabinet files (like adobe photoshop, nero or even microsoft direct x etc.)<br />
varius error messeges about files being corrupt or cant be trusted.<br />

tried reinstalling windows installer (unregister it first the registerd it again), no change..<br />
some of the installation files came from the net (downloaded several time) some came from cd roms, cant install non.<br />
i use kaspersky internet security firewall and its disabled during installation so its not a firewall issue.<br />
