Why won't Outlook 2000 maximize from the task bar

I have a PC running XP Pro, SP2, all updates are installed. I use Outlook 2000 for my email. All of a sudden, when I minimize Outlook to the task bar, and then click on it to maximize it, nothing happens. The program used to maximize when I clicked on it, and all my other programs still do, but not Outlook 2000. If I right click it and try to select anything from the context menu, Windows makes that annoying BONG sound like it does when something is wrong. I cannot ALT-TAB to bring it up either. My only solution at this point is the kill it from the task manager, and bring it back up. Any ideas???

thx all...

Hi bobrossi56,

Open the registry editor by clicking the Start button and selecting Run.
type in regedit and click OK

Navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Office Explorer

One the right hand side you should see a value named Frame. Select Frame and then press the
delete key on your keyboard. Make sure that this is the only value
you delete.  Now start Outlook.

cheers,
