VBA Excel 2000: Get button handle

byrnees asked
Last Modified: 2010-05-18
I feel I have searched everywhere to find code which will give me the handle of an Excel form's button.
I am trying to create some balloon tips when the user's mouse hovers over some report buttons on my Excel 2K form.  I have been successful in a vb6 app since the controls all have an hwnd property.
I have found code which will give me the Form's hwnd shown below, but Not the child controls within the form, namely the buttons.
Me_hWnd = FindWindowd("ThunderDFrame", Me.Caption)

What is the classname for the button windows??
If I know the classname, will it work?
Thanks in advance!
