They are universal cards so they will even work in 33mhz 32-bit pci slots, 5v or 3.3v, pci slots so i dont think there will be any problem with a 66mhz pci-x slot.

so my next question is the bus that this Firewire is going to go into is shared with a different card, they will not be used at the same time. &nbsp;What I have to be sure of is that the firewire card will not drop the bus speed to 33Mhz thus forcing my other card to 33Mhz, when this card is this slow it causes problems for our software. &nbsp;<br />

Do you know a way that it can be forced to 66Mhz??<br />

ok,
