CRM-Exchange Email Router Setup

Experts,
I have a clean install of Windows Server 2003 standard.
I have installed SQL 2005 w/ reporting services, no hitches.
CRM 3.0 has installed and it configured to reporting services, exchange, etc.

When I go to install CRM-exchange Email Router, I select to install "CRM-exchange Email Router Service" & "Rule Deployment Wizard"
I continue on and get to section to "Specify the router Mailbox" I put in Domain\username (as indicated) and there is a specific CRM account already created in AD called "crmmailbox".  So, when I type domain\crmmailbox and click [NEXT] It says,
"Either Microsoft Exchange is not installed this server, or the mailbox is not local to this Exchange Server"

I get this error with any AD account I try to put in.
I know it is seeing the account because if I type in a user account that does not exist in AD it says,
"The mailbox is not valid.  User cannot be found in the directory. Please verify that the mailbox exists."

I don’t know why I am getting this message.
