Use Active X to find a current open application and manipulate

Last Modified: 2013-11-25

I'm trying to discover if it is possible to locate an open Office Document (MS Word) and be able to programmically manipulate the current document.

I'm trying to write a save data script for word so when computers are forcably shutdown, I can run this script that will locate any open word docs, so I can save them to an alternate location.

Any insight on this?
