Rundll Error LXCFtime

Upon booting my XP Home I get the following error:

Rundll

Error loading \3\LXCFtime.dll the specified module could not be found.

I can't figure out what application, etc is causing this.  Any help to repair the error?

Can you boot into safe mode? If so, check in the event viewer.

Click Start > Run   type msconfig and press enter.  Go to the Startup tab.  Look for the \3\LXCFtime.dll in there and uncheck it, now it won't run everytime you startup windows.  It may be from a program that wasn't completely removed from windows.  After you do this restart the computer and see if it comes up again.  If it doesn't go into add/remove programs in control panel and I'd delete any search bar software or unwanted software from the computer.  Be careful not to delete stuff you actually need or any needed drivers.

Hope this helps.

I can start in safemode and have done so checking the event viewer... Not sure what to look at?  I do see some DCOM errors and a new one, MSSQL$MICROSOFTS Event 19011 which states that some DLL files maybe missing.  Perhaps these are related?

I will try the other two suggestions in the meantime...

Tex-

I followed your advice... First I just removed all printers drivers not used anymore that were installed on that machine, before reinstalling anything.  Error is gone.  Thanks!  A lesson learned in cleaning up things...
