I have dual processor on DELL Poweredge 800 series server ,and i want to allocate some processes to one processor and the some other to others,is it possible in suse linux or we need some utility which allows us to do this.

The default SuSe kernel should have asymmetric multiproccessing in it stock.

i have a HS40 model server,which has fcs0 and fcs1 and scsi local harddisk ,i have installed suse linux enterprise on the localhardisk but when i connect two logical volumes from IBM DS4500 and boot the system it starts looking for the kernel in the logical volumes,by default sd0 is the boot voilume and if i donot connect the logical volume it boots properly but the moment i connect the logical volume it start giving me problem

Damn - if You don't know what to accept, better don't accept aything. You don't need new kernel(as joshmia2001 entioned), but You need to use 'takset' utility.

Errr yeah I don't really deserve those points. That was more of a pointer than an answer.
Ok, so I am confused..
You installed SuSe on the local hard disk, and when you install the LVM from IBM DS4500 it starts searching these for the kernel.. You have to be more specific..
I don't really know what you problem is at the moment.. Sorta. Post some output or something..
