I’m a newbe with databases in general (2 weeks).  I'm writing software using PERL.  The string bellow gives me the error:

DBD::ODBC::db do failed: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too few parameters. Expected 1. (SQL-07002)(DBD: Execute immediate failed err=-1) at Y:\scripts\BRECON~1\DEVELO~1\nlebouth\NEW_DA~1\REBUIL~1.PL line 51.

I'm trying to update the DateStamp column for tblLibraries with the DateStamp data contained in tblExistingLibraries where the elements of the existingLibrary column of tblExistingLibraries match the elements for the Library column of tblLibraries.

What's wrong with the query?

UPDATE tblLibraries SET DateStamp = (SELECT DateStamp FROM tblExistingLibraries
          WHERE tblExistingLibraries.existingLibrary = tblLibraries.Library)
        " WHERE tblExistingLibraries.existingLibrary = tblLibraries.Library
