Cannot find virus
I have a computer that acks like it has a virus of some sort, yet after spending $70 for Symantec Support, they say there is none. They logged in to the computer and ran their virus scan and found nothing and have come to the conclusion that the problem is hardware related.
Here is what it does. At will, it will beep and then freeze for about a second whenever I move the mouse. If I am in an application, it will beep, freeze for a second and then change the zoom size of the document. I really notice it in Coreldraw. I will be working on a document and when I move the mouse, the zoom changes again. I updated the mouse driver and the screen driver as Symantec suggested, but it continues. I ran some RAM test and nothing shows up as being defective.
It has all the symptoms of a virus. I think it is something Symantec hasn't discovered yet.
Any Ideas?
