Is there a better program that Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Distiller to print PDFs from AutoDesk 2005 Architectural Desktop?

Good Day Experts,

We tend to have many problems printing PDFs from Adobe Acrobat and Distiller.  Are there any other programs that would help us create PDFs from AutoDesk 2005 Architectural Desktop.  This is also installed on Windows XP SP2 Professional

Many THanks,

Ellsworth

Thanks for the reply Techn125,

How long have you been using that program and has it ever become corrupt or crashed on you?

Thanks,

Ells
Oh i've been using it since a couple years now at this job and the one prior, never had file corruption or crashes occuring while creating pdf's.
If it can be a quality assesment of some sort (hehe) I'm working for a very big internationnal corporation and this is the application we are instructed to use to create pdf's, nothing else.

Never use it from ADT, only from AutoCad (with custom modules added), but since both are products from the AutoDesk familly i dont see why it would cause any problems.

Its free anyway, so you dont have much to lose if, for any reasons, it dosen't fit the bill for you.

I recall answering a Q similar to this one recently, there were other applications suggested. Just dig a couple days/questions ago if you want other alternatives.
Er... that should read:

>>*I*  never *used* it from ADT, only from AutoCad (with custom modules added), but since both are products from the AutoDesk familly i dont see why it would cause any problems.

The only issue I see with cuteftp is that if you would like to make a dynamic pdf with layer groupings, it doesn't seem to offer any capabilities for that.  That is an issue with my drawings, but does not apply to all CAD users.
hey chawness
does the bluebeam do layers?
