Hi,

Here are some questions I have about Full indexing before we start with it:

We have Exchange 2000 with no full indexing installed and are moving to Exchange 2003 cluster A/P with two 25GB mailstores.

1) is it best to create a full index and populate it on the Exchange 2003 before or after moving mailboxes into the new  mailstore?
2) how important is it to have the index stored on a different volume/drive then the mailstore?
3) we are able to use the 'Advanced find' on our old Exchange 2000 server currently without Full indexing installed. If we install full indexing does it just run faster?
4) Is there any drawbacks to using full indexing?

Thanks,

Dean
