JAVA Programming

I don't need help on how to write a class (not right now at least).  This is a question/statement that was brought up in my class:

"Describe the various members that a class definition can contain."

I searched through my textbook, the internet, and magazines, but I can't find a straight answer.  I 'm guessing that it's asking for data fields, constructors, etc. and they want me to explain it.  I think these fall under the class definition.  Maybe if I put the question in a different form:

What is a class definition and what are the various members of a class.
