does it provide more speed?
Not necessarily... speed is determined by the controller and devices attached.  High Speed controllers usually have high-pin counts... But strictly speaking, pin counts and density don't determine speed.

Can we plug a SCSI cable into VHDCI port or plug VHDCI cable inot SCSI port?

thanks
I don't think you're understanding what we're saying - VHDCI is JUST A CONNECTOR TYPE.  It IS a SCSI port.  With an adapter you can plug it into anything.

I don't think you understood my question.

I have seen 2 ports, one it says SCSI and the other one says VHDCI
since you said they are the same, do they have different cables that plugs into these ports example SCSI cable and VHDCI cable or there is just on cable scsi cable that plugs in both ports?
