The error given is a 50.1 Fuser error. In the event log, it's a 50.01.00 error, which is a Low Fuser Tempurature error. In the HP service manual it says,

Turn the printer off for at least 20 minutes, and then turn the printer on.

If the error continues:
1. Make sure that the  Fusing Assembly is installed correctly and is fully seated in its connectors (no bent pins or pins outside their receptacles).
2. Reseat or replace the fuser cable assembly.
3 Replace the DC controller.

I've completed step 1. Despite looking through the service manual, I can't find where the fuser cable assembly is located. The only references I was able to find were ,

Cable, Fuser 1    Table 8-6 on page 753
Cable, Fuser 2    Table 8-6 on page 753

The diagrams showed two cables but didn't have any arrows pointing indicating where they are located in the printer. Most of the threads I've found in reference to this problem say that the LVPS( Low Voltage Power Suplly ) is usually to blame for this error but I havn't found this listed as a potential problem in the HP service manual.

All of these parts are expensive. I'd rather not have my boss order a $500 part that we don't need, if I can avoid it... What is the part should I be ordering? DC Controller? LVPS? Fuser Assembly? Something else? Are there more in depth trouble shooting steps somewhere that would help me pin down which component is bad?
