SQL 2005 MSDE Command Line Switches

I need a way to redirect MSDE2005 to another partition.  Can you help me with this.  Please give an example of a redirect to the D partition.  Any other commonly usefull switches would be great tool

Each database you create has associated database files.

I assume you want to move existing databases to partition D as well as only create new databases on D?

What about the database binary files? Do you want them to be moved to D also?

PS there is some version confusion here. In the 'free' versions of SQL Server there are:

MSDE (version 8.0)
SQL Express (version 9.0)

Which one are you using?

Sorry, SQL Express 2005.

And no, this is an install, not a migration.

Hi,

As nmcdermaid said above, do you want to merely put the porduction databases on another partition or driver, or have the whole of SQL Express on another drive?

Prefer to have SQL Express in whole on another drive, but will settle for the DB on another drive.
