CD light on Cisco router on new T-1 connection
Hello-
We have a Cisco 2500 series router with a CSU/DSU card that I have connected to the T-1 coming into the building. Initially we had no connection since the pairs were crossed at the demarc but that has been resolved.
When I plug the T-1 into the router card the CD light comes on along with the transmit and receive lights, but after a minute or so the CD light goes off.
Is this an indicator of a bad card or does the router need to be configured or since the remote T is in loopback I will not get carrier?
Thank you!
