Win XP - When running on wireless can get to sites by typing URL, but clicking on links gets page cannot be found. works fine when plugged in
Hello,
I have an XP computer that will not "connect" to links when viewing a webpage.
If I am on wireless, I can type any url in and it will go there. But if I click on a link on that web page it just sits there until it times out (which is a really long time).
If I plug directly in to the router and bypass the wireless, it works just fine.
Any ideas?

Yes, if she plugs a cat5 cable into the wireless router she can browse fine. If she connects through the wireless she cannot. We are going to try swapping out the router to see if that makes a difference. She does not have problems with the wireless network in our office or our guest wireless network. So... I'm going to shoot at some sore of incompatibility with the router.
did you check the ip address you are getting from the wireless??
Can you please confirm if the problem is as I described above? If it is it physically cannot be the router causing the issue.

Yes Mr. Shed, that was correct.
Since she did not have this problem on other wireless connections we replaced the router and the problem went away.
