I usually hold the &lt;Shift&gt; key down while I click the &quot;X&quot; to delete it.<br />
You can turn off the confirmation if you don't like that either (I do :)

I have a lazy user that after reading an email wants to permanently delete the email when he selects delete. &nbsp;He doesn't wand to send it to the deleted items folder then go in and 'delete' a second time.<br />
