DEAD FSMO/RID Master DCDIAG- ERROR: There is an inconsistency in the DS, suggest you run dcdiag in a few moments?

Ok, here is the deal.

We had (operative word) a server name SRV-XYZ that served all operations roles, FSMO, RID.. all of them... That server is now dead.  It is dead with no backup as our backup admin failed to ever add it to the backup schedule.  So, I went into another DC through NTDSutil and seized all of the roles.  REPLMON shows replication cruising alone just fine.  The dead server was a replication partner for all remote sites (one of two) so I deleted the server from all of those sites, and then after a day deleted the server from AD stating it was a dead domain controller that would never come back online.

I know am trying to make sure everything is cool, but DCDIAG returns the following error on every DC...

C:\Documents and Settings\Davisk.LCB>dcdiag /fix

Domain Controller Diagnosis

Performing initial setup:
***ERROR: There is an inconsistency in the DS, suggest you run dcdiag in a few
moments, perhaps on a different DC.

C:\WINNT\system32>dcdiag /test:registerindns /DnsDomain:domanname.com
   Starting test: RegisterInDNS
DNS configuration is sufficient to allow this domain controller to
dynamically register the domain controller Locator records in DNS.

The DNS configuration is sufficient to allow this computer to dynamically
register the A record corresponding to its DNS name.

      ......................... srv-xyz passed test RegisterInDNS

C:\Documents and Settings\Davisk.LCB>dcdiag

Domain Controller Diagnosis

Performing initial setup:
***ERROR: There is an inconsistency in the DS, suggest you run dcdiag in a few
moments, perhaps on a different DC.

Any suggestions?
