On a Dell Dimension 4600, a new simpletech bonzaiXpress USB 2.0 Flash Drive is very slow for writing to or reading from the drive compared to another USB 2.0 flash drive.  The 4600 has USB 2.0 ports and I tested the same files on both devices using the same USB ports.  the sipletech device takes 20 - 40 min to transfer 1 gig of assorted files.  it takes 2 - 3 min to transfer the same data via the same usb ports to the other thumb drive.... (and I tried this several times - so it's not that the data was cached the 2nd time and loaded on the other stick qucker).
